Important Dates:

– Proposal due: 31 August 2025
– Proposal notification: within two weeks after submission


The Organizing Committee invites proposals for Special Sessions to be held during the 2025 2nd International Conference on Future of Medicine and Biological Information Engineering (MBIE 2025). Special sessions complement the regular technical program by highlighting new and emerging research topics or innovative applications of established approaches. The topic of a special session proposal should be timely and compelling.

Proposal Submission Guideline

Each special session proposal should include the following information:

1.  Proposed Session Title: A concise and descriptive title.

2.  Session Theme & Abstract: A 300-500 word description of the session topic, emphasizing its relevance, importance, and potential impact.

3.  Proposed Session Chairs (1-3): Names, affiliations, and contact information of the chairs, including a brief biography highlighting their expertise in the proposed topic. 

4.  List of Potential Speakers: Provide a list of all talks, speakers, and co-authors (in each associated paper). Technical sessions are normally expected to have at list 3 papers.

5.  A special session should focus on a specific research topic relevant to the MBIE 2025 conference.

6.  Each special session is expected to have no less than three regular papers.

7.  Special session organisers (Chairs) are responsible for inviting the papers, arranging/advising reviewers. MBIE 2025 special session chairs will assist organizing those sessions and ensure their quality and success.

4.  Proposals submitted before July. 31, 2025, will be given priority.

5.  Notifications of acceptance/rejection will be provided by August 31, 2025.
